Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak surface ridge will dominate the basin the
entire period. An area of low pressure in the SE CONUS supports
scattered showers and tstms tonight in the E gulf waters.
Numerous heavy showers and tstms are noted particularly within
60 nm off the Florida Panhandle. Another low will develop over
the NE basin on Wed evening, increasing the winds to near gale
force on Thu.

.SUN...SW winds less than 10 kt, shifting to N in the afternoon.
