Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A broad low pressure area over the southern U.S.
will maintain moderate southwest to west winds across the NE and
north-central Gulf through Sun. A weak cold front in the NW Gulf
will stall and weaken in the north-central Gulf overnight. A
stronger cold front will move across the NW Gulf Mon, then
weaken in the northern Gulf Tue and Wed.

.TONIGHT...SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SUN...SW winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to W in the afternoon.

.MON...NW winds less than 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less.
