Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...Relatively weak high pressure across the region will allow for moderate to fresh east to southeast winds to continue across the forecast area through Sun. A weak cold front is expected to begin to move across the far northern sections of the NW and north-central Gulf Sun night and Mon. A trough will develop each night over the Yucatan Peninsula, and support pulses of fresh to locally strong winds in the south central Gulf at night.
