Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extends from SW Florida near
26N82W to beyond the Yucatan Channel. This front will drift
southward and dissipate over the next day. In response to a
strong extratropical cyclone over the U.S. Southern Great
Plains, southerly return flow will be enhanced in the western
Gulf through Thu. A ridge of high pressure north of the Gulf
will subsequently promote quiescent conditions through Sat
morning. Late Sat, southeasterly return flow will be enhanced
ahead of the next cold front, which should emerge off of the
Texas coast on Sun.
