Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A slowly-moving cold front passes through South
Florida, into the south central Gulf of Mexico, and then into
the SW corner of the Gulf of Mexico. The front will continue to
move across the remainder of the Gulf of Mexico, and then SE of
the area on Wednesday. Strong winds and high seas will follow
west of the front. Gale force wind conditions are being 
experienced now, from 20N to 25N W of 96W, and they will continue
until this morning. Gale force winds are expected near Veracruz 
Mexico, just to the south of the first gale wind area, this 
afternoon and tonight. Surface high pressure will build across 
the Gulf of Mexico behind the front and prevail during the rest 
of the week.
