height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Strong northerly winds will follow a cold front off
Texas as it moves over the western Gulf, reaching gale force 
near the coast. Winds and seas will diminish across the Gulf Thu 
as the front moves southeast of the region. Winds and seas will 
increase Sat into Sun over the southern Gulf after a reinforcing 
front moves through the basin.
