height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front from the western Florida
panhandle to the mouth of the Rio Grande will drift NW through
tonight, then will move east as a cold front Thu, reaching from
the Florida panhandle to Paraiso Mexico Fri morning before
sweeping southeast of the Gulf Sat. Fresh to strong winds will
follow the front across the western Gulf, reaching near gale
force off the coast of Veracruz Mexico Fri. Winds and seas will
diminish late Fri through Sat as high pressure builds in the
wake of the front.
