Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Strong to near gale force winds across the eastern
Gulf will diminish to 20 kt or less overnight. Large seas of up
to 22 ft across the east-central waters will subside to less
than 8 ft by Sat evening. A surface high over the SW Gulf of Mexico 
will shift NE across the central waters on Sat, and move across 
the Florida Panhandle on Sun, leaving a ridge from the Florida Big
Bend to SE Texas on Mon. Fresh return flow will set up across 
the NW waters on Tue with these conditions spreading E across the
entire gulf waters on Wed.

.TONIGHT...NW winds 15 to 25 kt, shifting to W 10 to 15 kt after
midnight. Seas 8 to 11 ft, subsiding to 6 to 8 ft after
midnight. 
.SAT...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.SAT NIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.SUN...S winds 10 kt in the morning, becoming variable winds
less than 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft in the morning, subsiding to
2 ft or less. 
.SUN NIGHT...Variable winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON...SE winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
