Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from Ft Myers, FL to the
central Bay of Campeche. A gale warning near the Veracruz coast
of Mexico has been discontinued. The front will reach from the
Florida Keys to the Yucatan peninsula later today then move SE
of the Gulf tonight. Southerly return flow will strengthen Fri
night as a low pressure system develops over SE Texas. This low
will track eastward along the U.S. gulf coast this weekend, with
strong S to SW winds expected ahead of the cold front.
