Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from near Goodland Florida to
the central Gulf near 22.5N92W where it becomes stationary to NE
Mexico near 24N98W. The front will shift SE across South
Florida, the Straits of Florida, and the SE Gulf through Sat
while weakening. High pressure will build in the wake of the
front across the Gulf region. Another cold front will move into
the NW Gulf Mon night, but will stall across the western Gulf
through Wed night. Expect fresh to strong northerly winds and
building seas behind the front, with near gale force likely
along the coasts of Tamaulipas and Veracruz.
