Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A northwest to southeast orientated surface ridge is
setting up from central Louisiana to Florida Bay with a surface
high forecast to develop along the ridge near 27N92W late Sat.
The surface high will shift slightly south on Sun with the ridge
extending southeast to the Yucatan Basin. A weak surface
trough,extending southwest from the remnants of tropical cyclone
Florence, will pass slowly east across the north-central gulf
waters through early next week. 

Gulf of Mexico N of 26N W of 87W

.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to E after midnight.
Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.SAT...E winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT NIGHT...SW winds less than 10 kt, shifting to N after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...NW winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SUN NIGHT...NW winds less than 10 kt in the evening, becoming
variable winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
