height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough over the southern Gulf will shift
NW toward southern Texas through Sat. Low pres will develop
along the trough. This low may develop into a tropical cyclone
over the NW gulf later this week.
