Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Gordon near 26.9N 84.3W 1003 mb at
11 PM EDT moving WNW at 15 kt. Maximum sustained winds 50 kt
gusts 60 kt. Gordon will move to 28.3N 86.3W Tue morning,
strengthen to a hurricane near 30.0N 88.6W Tue evening before
moving inland Tue night. Gordon will weaken as it continues
inland to 31.6N 90.3W Wed morning, then weaken further to a
tropical depression near 32.9N 91.6W Wed evening, and to 34.6N
93.9W Thu evening. Winds and seas will diminish across the
eastern and north central Gulf in the wake of Gordon. Fresh
winds will pulse off the west coast of the Yucatan Peninsula in
the evenings.
