Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front is approaching the NW gulf waters. The
front will stall near the upper Texas and Louisiana coasts
tonight, then return N as a weakening warm front Thu. Scattered
showers and thunderstorms in the vicinity of the front could
produce brief gusty winds and higher seas. A surface trough is
expected to form each day over the Yucatan Peninsula, then move
over the Bay of Campeche at night. Fresh to locally strong winds
will be possible over the eastern waters of the Bay of Campeche
from sunset to around midnight as the troughs move offshore.
