height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure ridging will prevail along 25N through
early next week. A surface trough extending from northeastern
Florida to 29N87W and to near 27N92W will slide east of the gulf
to over northeastern Florida by Sat night. Another surface
trough will move into the NE gulf early next week. A surface
trough will move off the Yucatan Peninsula into the Bay of
Campeche each evening, accompanied by fresh nocturnal winds.
