Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A weak 1014 mb low is just inland the coast of northern Florida at 30N84W, with a trough extending to another 1014 mb low at 28N84W and continues to near 24N86W. The low near 28N84W will dissipate Sun, while the low near 30N84W will drift westward towards the SW Alabama and SE Louisiana coasts Sun and Sun night while weakening. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue over much of the NE Gulf and the far NE section of the N central gulf waters through Tue night. Weak high pressure covering the central and western Gulf will change little through Wed night. A surface trough will emerge off the Yucatan Peninsula each evening through Wed, and act to enhance nocturnal winds over the SW Gulf.
