Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extending from NE Florida to
across the NE Gulf to southern Mississippi will slowly dissipate
through Wed. A surface trough will develop along the Yucatan
Peninsula each afternoon, pushing W into the SW Gulf during the
evening before dissipating. Otherwise, ridging extending from
the Atlc will prevail across the basin. 

Gulf of Mexico N of 26N W of 87W

.THIS AFTERNOON...SW winds 10 to 15 kt, diminishing to less than
10 kt in the afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...SW winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED...SW winds 10 to 15 kt, diminishing to less than 10 kt in
the afternoon. Seas 3 ft. 
.WED NIGHT...S winds less than 10 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.THU...S winds less than 10 kt in the morning, becoming variable
winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU NIGHT...SE winds less than 10 kt, increasing to 10 to 15 kt
