The front will exit the southeast Gulf overnight along with a line of thunderstorms. Winds and seas will diminish from west to east across the Gulf through Mon as high pressure builds over the northern Gulf. Surface ridging will prevail through mid week, then a weaker cold front is forecast to stall over the northern Gulf Thu.
