Fresh to strong southerly flow is ahead of the front to 84W. Gale force northerly winds will extend off Tampico and Veracruz later today as the front reaches from SE Louisiana to the western Bay of Campeche. The front will sweep across the southeast Gulf by late Sun night. Winds and seas will diminish from west to east through Mon as high pressure builds across the basin in the wake of the front through Wed morning.
