Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Strong to minimal gale force winds are ongoing in
the NW Gulf following a late season cold front that extends from
Louisiana near 30N92W to NE Mexico near 25N97W. Fresh to strong
southerly flow is ahead of the front to 84W. Gale force
northerly winds will extend off Tampico and Veracruz later today
as the front reaches from SE Louisiana to the western Bay of
Campeche. The front will sweep across the southeast Gulf by late
Sun night. Winds and seas will diminish from west to east
through Mon as high pressure builds across the basin in the wake
of the front through Wed morning.

9 to 11 ft in SE swell. S winds 15 to 25 kt elsewhere. Seas 7 to

towards evening. Seas 8 to 10 ft, building to 11 to 13 ft.
.TONIGHT...N winds 25 to 35 kt, diminishing to 20 to 25 kt early
in the morning. Seas 12 to 14 ft.
