height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to locally strong southerly return will
continue across the gulf waters through Fri ahead of a strong
and convective cold front moving off the Texas coast on Fri
night. The cold front will extend from the Mississippi Delta to
the Bay of Campeche on Sat night, extend from the Florida Big
Bend area to the Yucatan Peninsula on Sun, and move then
southeast of the area on Sun night. Gale conditions area
forecast across the S-Central and SW Gulf waters from late Sat
into Sat night. Southerly return flow will redevelop across the
northwest gulf waters on Mon night through Tue night.
