Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A thermal trough will develop over the Yucatan
Peninsula during the afternoons, drift west across the eastern
Bay of Campeche during the overnight hours, and dissipate over
the southwest gulf waters by late each morning. An east to west
ridge meandering across the northern coastal plains will retract
east today ahead of a cold front moving into the northwest gulf
waters late tonight. The front will dissect the gulf waters from
the Florida Big Bend to Veracruz Mexico on Wed, then weaken
across the southern gulf waters on Thu, and then gradually
dissipate on Thu night into Fri. Another cold front will enter
the far northwest waters late Fri night and stall east to west
across the northern waters on Sat.
