Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure ridging from the SW N Atlantic into
the eastern Gulf will maintain fresh to strong SE return flow
through Thu morning when a cold front will enter the NW Gulf.
Fresh to strong southerly winds will develop within 60 nm east
of the front and over Louisiana adjacent waters Thu afternoon
continuing through the evening hours. The front will reach from
the Florida Big Bend to Tampico Fri afternoon, then will stall
across central Florida Sat morning while it weakens. High
pressure in the wake of the front will support fresh to near
gale force winds in the western Bay of Campeche Thu night to Sat
morning.
