Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Strong high pressure ridging from the west Atlantic
into the Gulf will maintain fresh to strong SE return flow
through Thu morning when a cold front is forecast to enter the
NW Gulf. Fresh to strong northerly winds will develop briefly in
the NW Gulf Fri morning when the front will reach from the
Florida Big Bend to the eastern Bay of Campeche. The front is
forecast to weaken from central Florida to the Yucatan Peninsula
Fri night. High pressure will build over the SE CONUS in the
wake of the front supporting NE moderate to fresh winds through
Sat evening.
