Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Moderate east to southeast return flow expected
across most of the Gulf waters through Sat. Locally dense fog
across the northern waters will dissipate by late morning then
develop again tonight. A weak cold front will stall east to west
across the northern and northwest waters on Sat, then retreat
northwest on Sun night into Mon. A thermal trough will develop
over the western Yucatan Peninsula during the afternoons, drift
west across the eastern Bay of Campeche during the overnight
hours, and dissipate over the southwest waters by late each
morning.
