Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends SW from Tampa Bay to 23N88W
then becomes stationary to the Bay of Campeche. The cold front
will move SE of the area today leaving a trough across the far
SW waters where it will meander through early Sat, then lift N
as a warm front with a surface low developing along the front
near 27N90W on Sat night. The surface low will move E reaching
the Florida Big Bend on Sun night dragging a cold front across
the Central Gulf waters. Near gale to minimal gale conditions
are forecast SW of the trough through Thu evening. Strengthening
high pressure in the wake of the front will produce strong NE
winds across the SW Gulf waters on Wed afternoon with these
conditions shifting E across the E Gulf waters on Wed night and
continuing through early Sat, with strong to near gale force
winds surrounding the surface low on Sat night into Sun.
