height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh SE winds are expected over the western Gulf
tonight through Sun night ahead of a cold front moving SE off
the Texas coast around dawn on Mon. The cold front will extend
from the Mississippi Delta to Veracruz Mexico late Mon, and then
stall from SW Florida to near Veracruz Mexico on Tue night.
Remnants of the front will lift N on Wed. A surge of cold air
will cause as strong NE winds develop over the NW Gulf Thu and
Thu night.
