height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from the Florida Panhandle,
across SE Louisiana to a weak 1018 mb low pressure centered near
29N92W to the coast of Texas near 28N96W. The low will move to
the north- central and NE Gulf waters through Monday morning
before dissipating. The front will extend from Sarasota, Florida
SW to Tampico, Mexico with frequent gusts to gale-force winds
behind it. Gale winds are forecast near Tampico Mon afternoon
into Mon night and near Veracruz Mon night and Tue morning.
