Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending SW from the Florida Panhandle to the Bay of Campeche will reach position from the Florida Big Bend to a frontal wave at 24N94W, then continue stationary to the Central Bay of Campeche by sunset. A secondary cold front will extend across the NW Gulf this evening, overrun most of the initial front along a position from the Straits of Florida to near Veracruz, Mexico on Mon evening. Remnants of the merged front will lift N on Tue and Wed reaching the NW and N-Central coastal plains on Thu and enhance convection along its boundary.
