Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Dense fog will limit visibilities near the northern
coast from eastern Texas to the Big Bend of Florida this
morning. A cold front will enter the NW Gulf early Sat, and
reach from the Florida Panhandle to the SW Gulf near Veracruz
early Sun. Strong to near gale force N winds along the coast of
Mexico Sat will diminish Sat night. Reinforcing cold air will
enter the northern Gulf early Sun and merge with the front Sun
night. This front will move slowly S into the SE Gulf and weaken
through late Mon.
