height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge axis will meander from SE Texas to the
Straits of Florida this week, except shifting S to the Yucatan
Peninsula during the middle of the week. A cold front will move
across the N-Central and E Gulf waters on Tue. A second cold
front will move into the N-Central Gulf on Thu, and move E
across the NE Gulf waters on Fri. 

Gulf of Mexico N of 26N W of 87W

.TONIGHT...NW winds 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON...NW winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.MON NIGHT...W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 ft after midnight. 
.TUE...NW winds 10 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TUE NIGHT...N winds 10 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.WED...N winds 10 to 15 kt in the morning, becoming variable
