A cold front will enter the NW gulf late Tue with fresh to strong northerly winds and building seas behind the front. A low pressure is forecast to develop along the frontal boundary by Wed night, then move quickly NE, and drag the cold front across the remainder of the Gulf through Fri. Strong northerly winds and rapidly building seas will follow the front, with winds possibly reaching gale force over portions of the west-central and SW Gulf Thu into Thu night.
