Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from a 1009 mb low centered
near 29N83W to the Yucatan Peninsula near 21N89W. The low will
move into the SW N Atlc and cause the associated cold front to
exit the SE Gulf Fri night. Fresh to strong winds and NW swell
behind the front will begin to gradually diminish and subside
across the gulf on Fri and Sat as the front exits the area, and
as high pressure builds across the region. The next cold front
may move into the NW Gulf Tue night.

.TONIGHT...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.FRI...N winds 10 kt in the morning, becoming variable winds
less than 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...Variable winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...Variable winds less than 10 kt, becoming W less than
10 kt in the afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less.
