Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the Gulf waters through the
middle of the week. A trough will develop late each day over the
Yucatan Peninsula and drift westward into the SW Gulf each night
where it will dissipate each morning. A cold front will move off
the Texas coast late Wed, reach from SE Louisiana to Brownsville,
Texas Wed night, and from the Florida Panhandle to near Tampico,
Mexico late Thu. Fresh northerly winds and building seas up to 5
or 6 ft will follow the front. 

Gulf of Mexico N of 26N W of 87W

.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 ft after midnight. 
.MON...S winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to SE in the afternoon.
Seas 3 ft. 
.MON NIGHT...SE winds less than 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the evening,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...SE winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE NIGHT...SE winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
