height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the Gulf waters through the
middle of next week. A trough will develop late each day over
the Yucatan Peninsula and drift westward into the SW Gulf each
night where it will dissipate each morning. A cold front will
move off the Texas coast Wed, followed by fresh to strong
northerly winds and building seas Thu and Thu night over the NW
Gulf.

.TODAY...SE winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds less than 10 kt, increasing to 10 to 15 kt
after midnight. Seas 3 ft.

.TUE THROUGH WED...E winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
