Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front from near the Florida/Alabama border to
the Bay of Campeche will sweep across the Gulf this weekend with 
fresh to strong northerly winds behind it, except gale force 
offshore of Tampico and Veracruz through the evening. Tropical 
Depression Eighteen is forecast to strengthen to a tropical 
storm this evening over western Cuba near 23.0N 81.8W quickly 
moving NE across the Straits of Florida ahead of the cold front, 
then continue NE near the NW Bahamas near 26.6N 78.5W Sun 
morning. Winds and seas will diminish across the Gulf through 
Sun night with more tranquil marine conditions through early 
next week.
