Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from the Florida Panhandle near 30N86W to the Bay of campeche near 20N95W to 23N98W. The front will extend from Tampa to NW Cuba Tuesday morning, and move east of the basin by Wednesday sunset. Strong ridge in the wake of the front will bring fresh to strong northerly winds into much of forecast waters from Tuesday sunrise until Thursday midnight. Winds will diminish through Thursday afternoon as the ridge shifts to the NE Gulf.
