height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Moderate to fresh SE winds will prevail over Gulf
waters today, and then become light SE to S just ahead of a cold
front arriving on the Texas coast Sun evening. The front is 
expected to reach from near Apalachicola Florida to the NW corner
of the Yucatan Peninsula by Monday afternoon, from Sarasota 
Florida to NW Cuba by Tuesday afternoon. Strong high pressure 
will build southeastward across the area in the wake of the front
could produce gale force winds over the SW Gulf on Mon and Mon 
night.
