Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will continue to extend from the Mid-
Atlantic states southwestward to the northern Gulf of Mexico 
waters through Saturday night, then weaken and shift eastward 
early on Sunday as a cold front moves off the Texas coast.
Fresh E winds across the northern Gulf waters will become SE 
across the NW Gulf waters overnight tonight, continue through 
Saturday, then become light southerly flow just ahead the cold 
front that will move off the Texas coast on Sunday morning.
The front is expected to reach from near Mobile Alabama to the 
eastern Bay of Campeche early on Monday, from near Sarasota 
Florida to the northern Yucatan Peninsula Tuesday morning and 
from near Fort Myers Florida to the NE Yucatan Peninsula by 
Tuesday evening. Strong high pressure will build southeastward 
across the area in the wake of the front with fresh to locally 
strong northerly winds spreading from W to E across the forecast 
waters.
