height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front from the western Florida
Panhandle near 30N86W to 24N96W to 20N96W will gradually
dissipate through Fri. Fresh to strong winds and seas off
Veracruz will diminish through early Fri. A trough over the
Bahamas will move across the Florida peninsula into the eastern
Gulf through Sat accompanied by fresh winds. A cold front will
reach the NW Gulf Sun night, bringing another round of strong
winds to the western Gulf early next week.
