height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Persistent broad troughing across the SW Gulf will
continue to be reinforced nightly by a trough shifting W off the
Yucatan Peninsula. A trough from 29N84W to 24N88W will shift W
to a position from 29N87W to 25N89W on Sun, from 29N93W to
25N95W on Mon, then move inland Texas on Mon night. Strong high
PRES will build S across the waters E of the trough supporting
strong E winds over the northern waters through Mon, with these
conditions spreading further S during the middle of the week.
