Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure will continue across the northern
waters through today, then weaken further allowing for a cold
front to push S to over the northern Gulf waters on Thu night.
The front will stall from near Tampa Bay to the far western Gulf
by Friday evening, then gradually dissipate during the upcoming
weekend as strengthening high pressure builds S across the
northern Gulf waters. The associated gradient will increase the
NE to E winds across the northern Gulf waters E of 90W beginning
on Sunday and into Monday. A thermal trough will develop each
evening over the NW Yucatan Peninsula, move W overnight, and
dissipate over the SW Gulf waters by late each morning.
