Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Katia near 21.5N 95.1W 982 mb at 11 PM EDT 
moving SW at 3 kt. Maximum sustained winds 75 kt gusts 90 kt. 
Katia is forecast to move to near 21.3N 95.5W Fri morning, then 
to near 20.8N 96.4W Fri evening, then to near 19.9N 97.5W Sat 
morning while moving inland and weakening to a tropical storm, 
then near 19.3N 98.3W as a tropical depression Sat evening, then 
dissipating by Sun evening. Major Hurricane Irma is forecast to 
enter the eastern Straits of Florida Sat afternoon, then turn 
northward across the Florida peninsula Sat night and Sun, 
bringing tropical storm force winds to eastern portions of the 
Straits of Florida and Florida Bay in the far SE Gulf late Sat 
into Sun.
