more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Franklin in the NW Caribbean near
19.0N 87.2W at 11 PM moving W-NW at 12 kt. Maximum sustained
winds are 50 kt with gusts to 60 kt. Franklin will move across
the Yucatan Peninsula overnight and will enter the Bay of
Campeche Tue night. Franklin is forecast to intensify to a Cat
1 hurricane Wednesday night near 20.6N 95.2W. Franklin will then
move inland Mexico near Veracruz Wed night. Surface ridging will
build across the basin in the wake of the hurricane by Friday.
