Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will meander from the Florida Big Bend to NE
Texas through Thu. A trough will develop over the Yucatan
Peninsula this evening and again on Mon evening, move westward
during the overnight hours, and dissipate over the SW Gulf by
late each morning. Winds and seas will increase across the
Yucatan Channel and along the Yucatan Peninsula beginning late
Mon night in association with low pressure, a possible tropical
cyclone, moving W across the Yucatan Peninsula. The low pressure
center will continue to move W across the SW Gulf on Tue and Wed
and inland Mexico on Thu.
