Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge from Cuba to SE Texas will weaken as a cold
front continues S across the northern gulf waters accompanied by
TSTMS. The front will stall and meander from Tampa Bay to the
Texas Coastal Bend through Mon with a surface low developing
over the NE waters along the front. The low will drift E and
reach inland Florida Mon night while the front drifts N reaching
the northern coastal plains on Thu. A ridge will rebuild E to W
from Central Florida to the Texas Coastal Bend on Thu. A trough
will develop over the Yucatan Peninsula each evening, move W
during the overnight hours dissipating over the SW Gulf each
morning.

.THIS AFTERNOON...NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.TONIGHT...NE winds less than 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the evening,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.MON...Variable winds less than 10 kt, becoming NE less than
10 kt in the afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft in
the afternoon. 
.MON NIGHT...NE winds less than 10 kt, shifting to E after
midnight. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.TUE...S winds less than 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.TUE NIGHT...Variable winds less than 10 kt, becoming SE less
