Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak 1016 mb high pressure over the NW Gulf will
dissipate and a surface trough over the NE Gulf will shift E
ahead of a weak frontal boundary drifting into the northern Gulf
Sat and Sun before stalling and weakening into Mon. Remnants of
the front will drift N Tue and dissipate by Wed. A trough will
develop over the Yucatan Peninsula each evening, drift westward
during the overnight hours, and dissipate over the SW Gulf each
morning. 

Gulf of Mexico N of 26N W of 87W

.TONIGHT...Variable winds less than 10 kt, becoming S less than
10 kt after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...W winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT NIGHT...SW winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft
in the afternoon. 
.SUN NIGHT...NW winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to N after midnight.
Seas 3 ft in the evening, subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.MON...Variable winds less than 10 kt, becoming N less than
10 kt in the afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less.
