Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A trough over the NE waters will move E of the area
tonight as a ridge builds from the Florida Straits to the Texas
Coastal Bend with little change then expected through Sat night,
then the ridge will weaken and retract Eastward. A weak cold
front will move into the northern waters on Sat night, stall
from the Florida Big Bend to 28N90W to NE Texas late Sun.
Remnants of the front will drift NW on Mon and Tue and dissipate
by Wed. A thermal trough will develop over the Yucatan Peninsula
each evening, drift westward during the overnight hours, and
dissipate over the SW Gulf each morning.

winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...Variable winds less than 10 kt, becoming S less than

.SAT NIGHT...SW winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft
in the afternoon.
