Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Ridging will extend from the eastern Gulf to the NW
Gulf through tonight. High pres will build over the N central
Gulf through the end of the week as a series of troughs drifts E
across the NE Gulf. A trough will develop over the Yucatan
Peninsula each afternoon into the the evening hours, then move W
across the SW Gulf during the overnight hours, and dissipate by
late each morning.

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to E in the
afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.WED NIGHT...SE winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
