Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface high will meander over the central gulf
waters with a ridge extending to the E and W along 26N. A trough
will drift E across the NE gulf waters beginning mid week. A
thermal trough will develop over the Yucatan Peninsula each
afternoon into the the evening hours, then move W across the SW
Gulf during the overnight hours, and dissipate by late each
morning.

.THIS AFTERNOON...S winds less than 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.TONIGHT...S winds less than 10 kt, shifting to SE after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft after midnight. 
.TUE...SE winds 10 to 15 kt, diminishing to less than 10 kt in
the afternoon. Seas 3 ft. 
.TUE NIGHT...SE winds less than 10 kt, increasing to 10 to 15 kt
after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less.
