more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure will prevail across the eastern
Gulf through early next week. A surface trough will develop over
the Yucatan Peninsula each afternoon and evening, then move W
into the SW Gulf and dissipate overnight.

.TONIGHT...Variable winds less than 10 kt, becoming S 10 kt
after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...S winds 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT NIGHT...S winds 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...SW winds 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft in
the afternoon. 
.SUN NIGHT...S winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less,
building to 3 ft after midnight.
